8 months agoDaniel Suarez will start 20th in Sunday's Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond Raceway. Despite Chevrolet earning the top four starting positions for Sunday's race, Suarez struggled to find the same speed that his fellow bowties did, which isn't really surprising given his history at this track. In his four starts in the Next Gen car at Richmond, Suarez has an average finish of 22.75 and an average DraftKings score of 21.30. While it is easy to dismiss results like this as the exception rather than the expectation, his other related data is equally as concerning. Over the last 11 short track races (excluding Bristol Dirt), the former Xfinity Series champion has scored an average of 23.02 DraftKings points. Likewise, in the three races using the road/short course aerodynamic package that will be used on Sunday, he is averaging just 21.90 DraftKings points. As you can see, the results at Richmond, on short tracks, and in the 2024 modified aerodynamic package are almost identical and are all unimpressive. Because of these struggles, it is recommended that you limit your exposure to the No.99 to a maximum of 5% of your lineup builds this weekend in DFS.--Adam Erhardt - RotoBaller
