Dennis Smith Jr. Will Be Sidelined Monday
8 months agoBrooklyn Nets guard Dennis Smith Jr. (hip) has been ruled out for the Monday night matchup with the Toronto Raptors. He's suffering from hip synovitis at the moment which is inflammation of the hip joint that leaves people to sometimes walk with a limp or not able to put any weight on it. Since Smith and Cameron Johnson (toe) will both be out for this game, there will be a gap in the offense for both the starters and reserves. Dorian Finney-Smith is the one who's probably going to get the starting spot while Lonnie Walker IV should be the first one off of the bench. Day'Ron Sharpe and Jalen Wilson should see some extra time as well but they're riskier streaming options.
