Garrett Mitchell Hits Grand Slam In Blowout Win
9 months agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Garrett Mitchell went 1-4 with a grand slam in Friday's 11-5 spring win against the Kansas City Royals. It was Wilson's first homer this spring. The 25-year-old has performed well this spring, slashing .319/.385/.811 in 47 AB. Wilson missed much of last year with a shoulder injury and may struggle to find a starting spot in Milwaukee's crowded outfield. ATC currently projects 415 PA for Wilson with a .240/.312/.376 slash line and 15 stolen bases. With MLB Pipeline's No. 2 prospect Jackson Chourio making the Brewers' Opening Day roster, Mitchell may be the odd man out in the Brewers's outfield and is at risk of limited playing time even if healthy, making him mainly a stash in deep-league formats.
