Tyler Toffoli Dominates Against Columbus With Three Points
9 months agoWinnipeg Jets winger Tyler Toffoli tallied two goals and an assist as the team rolled over Columbus 6-1 on Sunday. Following a tight one-goal opening period, Toffoli had a goal and an assist inside the first 10 minutes of the second frame to set the Jets on their way. He completed his three-point outing with the game's final goal a few minutes from the end. This was Toffoli's second multi-point effort in a row after he finished Friday's 6-0 win over Anaheim with two goals. He's become only the third player in franchise history to score four goals in his first four appearances with the team. The 31-year-old looks like a superb fit in Winnipeg, and fantasy managers should get a lot of value out of him over the final few weeks of the season. Combined with his time in New Jersey, Toffoli has tallied 49 points (30 goals, 19 assists) in 65 games this term.
