Hunter Harvey is a fantasy baseball closer draft sleeper, and ADP draft value for saves. Target Harvey as an undervalued relief pitcher in 2024 fantasy drafts.

CURRENT ADP: ~298 overall
ANALYSIS: The Nationals will likely open 2024 with Kyle Finnegan as their closer, but Harvey remains the talent to side with. Remember Harvey’s 10-game window from June 21 to July 14: 9 ⅔ IP, 6 SV, 1 ER, 10:1 K:BB.
But then he missed a month due to a right elbow strain, which gave Finnegan a chance to recover the role before his horrid September. I’ll take Harvey’s 0.94 WHIP over Finnegan’s 1.30 mark any day. Harvey’s K-BB% eclipses Finnegan’s by 10 percentage points against both left and right-handed hitters.
Harvey has had a nice spring, allowing six hits and two earned runs with a 10:1 K:BB over six and one-third innings pitched (2.84 ERA). If Finnegan falters, Harvey would be in a prime spot to take over the duties full-time.
