1 year agoLos Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis (Achilles) is expected to play against the Warriors on Saturday. The All-Star big man has collected a probable tag for the contest. Davis is set to feature in an 18th consecutive game, and he will have plenty to prove after getting outplayed by Domantas Sabonis in the previous matchup. In two previous games against the Warriors this season, Davis has put in outstanding performances, averaging 28.0 points, 14.0 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

12 hours agoDallas Mavericks forward/center Anthony Davis (adductor) is listed as probable for Wednesday's special matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers. The star big man is likely to play against his former team, marking his first meeting with the Lakers since they traded him for Luka Doncic in February. Davis has suited up seven times for the Mavericks, averaging 20.6 points, 9.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.7 blocks. Dallas has been cautious with Davis' workload since his return from an adductor strain, with him yet to play over 30 minutes. However, he can still be dominant and has averaged a 30-point double-double this month.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

1 week agoDallas Mavericks forward/center Anthony Davis (adductor) is probable for Wednesday's matchup against the Atlanta Hawks. He looks ready to make a fourth consecutive appearance. Overall, Davis has played four times since returning from an adductor strain. While playing with a minutes restriction, he has averaged 14.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.0 steals. Davis will likely have his minutes monitored again on Wednesday night, which means fantasy managers will receive only limited value from him.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

1 week agoDallas Mavericks forward/center Anthony Davis (adductor) has been cleared to play in Monday's contest against the Brooklyn Nets, but his minutes will continue to be monitored. The plan is to use Davis for 25 to 28 minutes. Over his previous three games since returning from injury, Davis has averaged 28.3 minutes a night, posting 15.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 1.0 steals. Although the minutes restriction limits Davis' fantasy potential, it's great to see him back on the court, and he could still do serious damage against Brooklyn's weak defense.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

2 weeks agoDallas Mavericks forward/center Anthony Davis (adductor) will play on Saturday against the Bulls. Fantasy managers will likely see him on the injury report for the remainder of the regular season and into the playoffs/Play-In, assuming Dallas makes it that far. But at least fantasy managers will know they'll have him in the lineup on Saturday night. Davis struggled in Thursday's win over the Orlando Magic, amassing 15 points while shooting a rough 5-for-19 from the field. Fortunately, there's a good chance AD will turn it around versus the Bulls, a team that has allowed 119.7 points per contest this season, the third-worst average in the National Basketball Association.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
