St. Patrick's Day is the same as Selection Sunday. It almost seems a crime that Notre Dame won't be in the field of 68 this year. Don't worry...there were plenty of bid thefts yesterday. New Mexico was probably in anyway, but North Carolina State, Temple (or UAB), and Oregon were NIT-bound until they won the conference tournament. A couple of Big East teams suffered, which likely means that Indiana State has no chance now. That's unfortunate.
The last five tickets are punched today, but the Ivy League started early so DraftKings left them off the slate. That will teach them! Bullies! First up is the A-10 between VCU and Duquesne. The loser goes to the NIT. Next, we have Florida and Auburn. Temple faces UAB for the AAC title. The loser of this one is likely out as well. The Big Ten takes us on home with Wisconsin facing Illinois.
This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings on 3/17/24, starting at noon EDT. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Terrence Shannon Jr., Illinois ($8.7K)
Terrence Shannon Jr sends Illinois to the Big Ten championship game:
◼️ 40 PTS
◼️ 11-22 FG
◼️ 5-9 3PT pic.twitter.com/yfBPpNbEtb— B/R Hoops (@brhoops) March 16, 2024
Shannon has taken over the Big Ten Tournament. He has 127 DraftKings points in the three games. He led the 22-point turnaround last night that knocked out Nebraska and put up 40.25 DraftKings points against a red-hot Ohio State team before that. Shannon put up 37.25 DraftKings points in the meeting with Wisconsin this year. That would be the low mark of his Big Ten Tournament if he matches that total. I tend to think he goes over, at least by a few points.
Chucky Hepburn, Wisconsin ($6.6K)
His poor shooting against Purdue to close the regular season was the only game in the last six that Hepburn has been under 27 DraftKings points. That highlights the good and the bad of Hepburn. He's a very efficient shooter when he's on and finds open teammates when other teams double him. That has been the rule down the stretch, not the exception. Hepburn put up 28 DraftKings points in the first game against Illinois. That's a nice return if he can do it again.
Alejandro Vasquez, UAB ($5.2K)
I hyped up Vasquez on Friday. He played just six minutes because he got tossed for throat-punching Wichita State's Isaac Abidde. Vasquez is fortunate that he wasn't handed a suspension. He wasn't, and the Blazers took down top-seed South Florida yesterday behind 30.75 DraftKings points from Vasquez. That's the third game over 30 in the last six for Vasquez and his price has barely moved.
Also consider: Eric Gaines, UAB ($8K); Zyon Pullin, Florida ($7.4K); Zeb Jackson, VCU ($7.1K); Dae Dae Grant, Duquesne ($6.7K); Joe Bamisile, VCU ($5.9K); Denver Jones, Auburn ($5.5K); Max Klesmit, Wisconsin ($5.3K); Jake DiMichele, Duquesne ($4.9K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Yaxel Lendeborg, UAB ($9.3K)
We don't have to choose between Zach Edey and Lendeborg since Wisconsin sent the Boilers packing. We can just jump on Lendeborg. He has 86.25 DraftKings points in the first two games of the AAC Tournament and dropped 50 on Temple just 10 days ago. Don't overthink this. No one else has the ceiling of Lendeborg.
Christian Coleman, UAB ($6K)
Yes, I'm heavy on Blazers today. They put up 100 points on Temple just 10 days ago! Coleman has been rolling since that game, scoring 111.75 DraftKings points in the four games over those 10 days. He put up a double-double against SMU in the opening round of the AAC Tournament when most of the rest of the team struggled. The steady hand of Coleman could go a long way today.
Tre Williams, Duquesne ($4.6K)
Williams only plays around 18 minutes a game off the bench, but he's the main shooter for the Dukes when he's in there and is a tough guy on the glass. Williams is averaging 4.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.5 blocks, and 0.8 steals in 16.5 minutes over the last four games. That's efficiency, which is the next best thing if we can't find a value play that gets 30 minutes per game.
Also consider: Johni Broome, Auburn ($8.6K); Tyrese Samuel, Florida ($7.3K); Jaylin Williams, Auburn ($6.1K); Alex Condon, Floria ($5.7K); Dylan Cardwell, Auburn ($5.4K); Luke Goode, Illinois ($3.3K)
