New Jersey Devils goaltender Jake Allen will make his team debut Thursday versus the Dallas Stars. The veteran netminder was acquired from the Montreal Canadiens prior to the March 8 NHL trade deadline but was unable to play until this point due to visa issues. "He's a veteran guy," Devils coach Travis Green said. "A good goalie in the league for a while now ... I'm looking forward to getting Jake in the net and get him up and running as quick as possible." The 33-year-old has struggled in recent seasons on some poor Habs teams, working to a 3.65 goals-against average and an .892 save percentage across 21 games this season. He was part of a three-goalie tandem in Montreal alongside Sam Montembeault and Cayden Primeau.--Brenton Kemp
