Marat Khusnutdinov To Make NHL Debut Thursday
9 months agoMinnesota Wild forward prospect Marat Khusnutdinov will make his NHL debut on Thursday versus the visiting Anaheim Ducks. The 21-year-old signed a two-year entry-level contract on Feb. 28 and had to wait for visa issues to be resolved prior to coming overseas. A second-round pick by the club in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, Khusnutdinov went pointless in six games with St. Petersburg SKA of the KHL this season before being traded to Sochi SC where he captained the team and posted six goals and 20 points in 49 games. The first year of his entry-level deal will be burned this season and the pact will end at the conclusion of the 2024-25 campaign.
