The 2023-2024 NBA season is here, and our friends over at PrizePicks still have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power or flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the industry's best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people; you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER,' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For the NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, March 13.
Single Stat NBA Totals - DFS Prop Picks
Editor's Note: Prize Picks prop totals are not always available first thing in the morning, so check back during the day, as other props may be added during the day.
James Harden OVER 3.14 Points - Let's cut the cake right away: PrizePicks went with a 3.14 point line for James Harden because it is "pi day," regarding the March 14 date. I don't find the joke funny, but I appreciate the lower line, as will you when we hopefully bank on such an attractive bet. The Los Angeles Clippers played last night vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves as if that matters when the line sits rather low.

Take the over on points at 3.14 for Harden.
P.J. Washington OVER 1.5 BLKS+STLS - Although the Dallas Mavericks' defense hasn't appeared better since trading for P.J. Washington and Daniel Gafford, blocks and steals props say otherwise for the former mentioned player. Over the last five games, Washington averaged a combined two blocks and steals, with three coming against the Bulls on Monday evening. Dallas lines up against the Stephen Curry-less Golden State Warriors on Wednesday evening, leaving much room for error without the saving grace of an otherwise bad team.
Regardless of whom Washington defends in the matchup, the forward's active hands and shuffling feet keep him in the play. I say let the good times roll by taking the over on Washington against the star-less Golden State lineup.
Michael Porter Jr. OVER 2.5 3-PT Made - At this point in Michael Porter Jr.'s career, taking the under on the Denver Nuggets' best shooter by volume and percentage renders a bad bet. Moreover, PrizePicks set the line at 2.5, which is relatively low considering Porter Jr.'s average over the last five matchups surpasses such a number. Denver plays the Miami Heat on Wednesday, who currently doesn't strike fear into teams' hearts unless it's the Boston Celtics in May, despite the ninth-ranked defensive rating.

With all the attention on Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray, Porter Jr. is expected to eat on open looks. In closing, slam the over on three-point shots converted by Porter Jr.
Nikola Jokic OVER 8.5 Assists - The moment I saw Jokic's assist line at a rare 8.5, I took the opportunity as a grateful bettor. Typically, Jokic has to record 9-plus assists to cover the over, but PrizePicks threw another bone at us, so we take what we get with a smile.
The last time Denver and Miami matched up, Murray shot an odd 2-6 in field goals, as he only played 14 minutes, which alluded to Jokic taking over the shot chart. However, in typically Jokic fashion, when everyone zigs, he zags. Porter Jr. led the team in field goal attempts while Jokic continued to find open teammates for a 103-97 finish over the defending Eastern Conference champions.

Wednesday sees the NBA Finals rematch, with the Nuggets in an even better position. Murray is back in the lineup since the initial 2023-2024 season matchup, leaving Jokic with another teammate from which to accumulate assists. This time around, Jokic doesn't even need to record double-digit assists to cover the over, so I say embrace the moment by taking the over.
Bam Adebayo UNDER 10.0 Rebounds - Although Bam Adebayo's defense ranks in elite territory, the All-Star center leaves a lot of meat on the bone regarding rebounds. Despite grabbing 16 boards over the Washington Wizards in their March 10 matchup, the Miami center averaged 9.8 over the last five games. The Miami center recorded eight rebounds in Adebayo's previous meeting with the defending NBA champs. Jokic often gets the better of Adebayo, as seen in the NBA Finals.
In the Finals, Jokic led both teams in rebounds in every game except one, where Adebayo tied him with 13 boards. I see the same happening during Wednesday's battle of the boards. I suggest taking the under on Adebayo rebounds.
