Aaron Judge Undergoes MRI, On Track For Opening Day
9 months agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge had an MRI in the area of his abdominal muscle on Monday that came back clean. Earlier on Monday, Yankees skipper Aaron Boone had stated that Judge was feeling "mid-spring beat up" and that Judge wasn't going to play until Wednesday. Now it's estimated that Judge won't even swing a bat until later this week. According to Judge though, he's "pretty sure" that he'll be ready for Opening Day. For now, it sounds like the Yankees and fantasy baseball managers will still have one of the top offensive weapons in the game available to begin the season, but with the 31-year-old's injury history, it is certainly something we'll need to keep a close eye on. The 5x All-Star managed to blast 37 home runs last season despite missing 56 games.
