Tim Anderson Hits First Homer Of Spring Monday
9 months agoMiami Marlins shortstop Tim Anderson hit his first home run of the spring in Monday's 1-0 Grapefruit League win over the Mets. Anderson hit a second-inning fastball from Tylor Megill over the right-field fence for the only run of the game. The 30-year-old is hitting .211 with no stolen bases in 19 spring at-bats. He will be looking to start anew with the Marlins, as injuries and poor performance stymied his fantasy value over the past several seasons with the White Sox.
