CBB DFS: Early DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (3/13/24)

CBB DFS lineup picks DraftKings NCAA daily college fantasy basketball

It's Conference Championship week, which means plenty of afternoon basketball over the next few days and the turnaround on slates dwindles. Wednesday is our biggest day of the week this week with the major conference tournaments beginning in earnest today. We have 19 games split on two slates today on DraftKings. We'll go with the early seven-game slate first, then graduate to the dozen night games.

We start in D.C. with the ACC giving us Florida State-Virginia Tech, and Notre Dame-Wake Forest. The Big 12 in Kansas City gives us Central Florida against BYU and Oklahoma and TCU for an autobid. The Big East gets going with Xavier and Butler in the Garden. We close this out in Vegas with the first two games of the Pac-12 tournament. USC and Washington go first followed by Oregon State and UCLA to close this slate.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings on 3/13/24, starting at noon EDT. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Sean Pedulla, Virginia Tech ($8.6K)

Pedulla closed the regular season on a heater. It wasn't as hot as the one in January, but he still averaged 38.9 DraftKings points per game over the last five games of the season. Pedulla was really consistent against Florida State this year, putting up 31 DraftKings points and 30.5 DraftKings points against them. His price is high enough that 30 is a bit of a disappointment, but neither of those Florida State games came during a hot streak. Pedulla has a high floor and his ceiling is still in the 50s.

Markus Burton, Notre Dame ($7.8K)

On paper, this isn't a good matchup for Burton. When did we last listen to paper, anyway? Burton has at least 35 DraftKings points in seven of the last nine games and at least 30 in all but the North Carolina game since January 27. Burton has gotten better as the year went on. He just had a big game against Georgia Tech to get to this point and put up 49.75 DraftKings points in the first game against Wake.

Naithan George, Georgia Tech ($5.9K)

From one talented freshman to another. If the Irish and Bees keep their teams intact, they could be a lot of fun to watch in the ACC next year. George had a miserable run over the last three weeks of February, but he appears to be back on track. 19 DraftKings points against a tough Virginia defense is a good total. We should see more than that against the Irish. George put up 46.5 DraftKings points in the two games against Notre Dame this year. That's what we're after in this range.

Jaylin Sellers, Central Florida ($5.4K)

While it's true that Sellers is mostly a scorer, he has scored in double figures in 13 of the last 14 games. A 1-for-11 performance against West Virginia on February 20 is the only outlier. That's the kind of consistency that we're looking for in a value play. Sellers has had a handful of games this season in which he has picked up solid peripheral numbers. If he adds that to the scoring, he could vault us up the leaderboard.

Also consider: Quincy Olivari, Xavier ($8.7K); Kobe Johnson, USC ($8.3K); Bensley Joseph, Miami ($6.8K); Miles Kelly, Georgia Tech ($6.5K); Simas Lukosius, Cincinnati ($6.2K); Braeden Shrewsberry, Notre Dame ($6K); Skyy Clark, Louisville ($5.5K); John-Michael Wright, Oklahoma State ($5K); Julian Roper II, Notre Dame ($4.1K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Quinten Post, Boston College ($8.5K)

The star power is in the frontcourt on the early slate. Post is inconsistent, but that's mostly due to foul trouble. He has topped 40 DraftKings points three times in the last five games. The two times that he missed, he was in foul trouble. Post put up 41.75 DraftKings points against Miami in one of those games, finishing one rebound shy of a double-double. The Hurricanes struggled with Post's size in both meetings this year. The third won't be any different.

Baye Ndongo, Georgia Tech ($7.3K)

I've been a believer in Ndongo since he cracked the starting lineup. I was using him in every slate up until his injury. He was slow coming back, but Ndongo has been money so far in March. He has 96 DraftKings points in three March games, including a huge game against Virginia over the weekend. Ndongo put up 57 DraftKings points in the two games against the Irish this year. I'm coming back for more!

Zan Payne, Louisville ($3.4K)

The senior has played limited minutes all season, but he has played 49 minutes in three March games so far. The 20 minutes on Senior Night was nice, but he was more effective against Virginia Tech the game before. Payne has 23 DraftKings points over the last two games. The bad news is that he has scored some zeroes in double-digit minutes this year. Payne is a decent dart throw if you're desperate in a GPP, but you need more consistency in cash games.

Also consider: Norchad Omier, Miami ($8.2K); Brandon Huntley-Hatfield, Louisville ($7.5K); Tae Davis, Notre Dame ($6.8K); John Newman III, Cincinnati ($6K); Quinn Slazinski, West Virginia ($5.4K); Prince Aligbe, Boston College ($3.9K)
