Is Odell Beckham Jr. A Free Agent?
Beckham has signed a variety of contracts throughout his NFL career, and he just finished up a one-year, $15 million pact with the Baltimore Ravens. Now, at the age of 31, the former LSU product is headed to the open market once again.
In 2023, Beckham finished with 35 catches, 565 yards, and a trio of touchdowns. He appeared in 14 games but consistently suffered injuries, some of which forced him to miss parts of (or entire) games.
Spotrac projects Beckham to command a one-year, $11.9 million deal this offseason.

Which Teams Would Be The Best Fit For Odell Beckham Jr.?
- New York Giants: Beckham back to his old stomping grounds? The Giants have struggled to get production out of their wide receivers and could turn to a familiar face in Beckham, who doesn't seem to have any bad blood with New York.
- Baltimore Ravens: The fit here is natural given that Beckham played for the Ravens in 2023. He wouldn't be a true top wide receiver, but he'd still be one of Lamar Jackson's most preferred targets when the MVP doesn't run the ball.
- New York Jets: Adding a proven, veteran receiver to an offense that already included Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall feels quite necessary. Beckham could help elevate an offense that is already trending in the right direction.
- Kansas City Chiefs: Beckham is linked to the Chiefs every time he tests free agency, but it's for good reason. Kansas City doesn't seem likely to splurge at the position, but they would benefit from someone like Beckham who could provide support alongside Rashee Rice.
- Jacksonville Jaguars: If the Jaguars can't re-sign Calvin Ridley, they'll need to replace him. Beckham has the liberty to choose where he signs and would presumably favor a team with a talented passer, like Jacksonville.
- Buffalo Bills: A one-two punch of Stefon Diggs and Beckham feels like a fantasy of the last decade, but we could see that exact scenario unfold within the coming weeks. Gabe Davis is unlikely to re-sign with Buffalo, creating a clear void in the pass-catching department.
- Dallas Cowboys: With Michael Gallup allowed to explore a trade, Dallas now has CeeDee Lamb and Brandin Cooks as its top receivers. Deploying both Cooks and Beckham in depth roles feels like a luxury, but that won't stop the Cowboys.
Meanwhile, I think the #Chiefs, #49ers, #Jets, #Rams or returning to the #Ravens are 5 good landing spots for OBJ, on mutually agreeable terms—in my opinion.
The first thing is getting Odell more involved in the offense, & also carving out his role. I know this from covering… pic.twitter.com/sslV7FJ794
