Landry Shamet Questionable For Sunday's Game
9 months agoWashington Wizards guard Landry Shamet (calf) is questionable heading into Sunday's game against the Miami Heat. Shamet missed Washington's previous game against the Charlotte Hornets thanks to left calf soreness. The reserve has become a solid asset, averaging 18 minutes per game since February. Bilal Coulibaly and Tyus Jones will likely continue to start, but the bench players will benefit most. Corey Kispert and Jordan Poole each saw 30-plus minutes off the bench in Friday's game without Shamet. Poole has averaged 22.8 points on 3.4 three-pointers made since moving to the bench to turn his woeful season around, and his usage only gets better off the bench if Shamet is out.
