Therefore, they don't want to risk him getting injured. The 31-year-old would be a big add for a playoff team, as he has put up 44 points (26 goals, 18 assists) in 61 games for New Jersey this year. He has also racked up 44 postseason points in 88 games, giving him valuable experience.
