Some of the smaller conference tournaments are tipping off today. This starts a string of more than a week with games starting early in the afternoon and keeping us going all day long. We here at RotoBaller will be with you the entire time! We've got the early games from the Fun Belt and the Missouri Valley Conference today. It's time to get familiarized with some of these mid-majors.
The first tip is between Georgia Southern and South Alabama. The MVC starts next with Missouri State facing Murray State. Coastal Carolina and Louisiana is the second game for the Sun Belt. We close the afternoon with Valparaiso and Belmont from the MVC.
This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings on 3/7/24, starting at 12:30 p.m. EST. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Ja'Kobi Gillespie, Belmont ($8.5K)
Gillespie missed a month due to injury right after the new year. In the nine games since his return, he is averaging 19.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 0.3 blocks, and 1.9 steals per game. Gillespie did play in both games against Valparaiso this year. He tallied 32 points, seven rebounds, 11 assists, and four steals, which was good for 63.25 DraftKings points. Gillespie is one of the more reliable options out there today.

Samuel Tabe, South Alabama ($7.1K)
Tabe is getting hot at the right time for the Jaguars. He is averaging 21.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.0 steals per game in the last six games. This is the first time all season that Tabe has had a string of games with a consistent minutes load. He started and played 39 minutes in the win over Georgia State a month ago. He put up 33.75 DraftKings points in that one. If he can repeat that performance, he'll be one of the best values on the slate.
Michael Thomas, Louisiana ($5.5K)
Themus Fulks will be unavailable for the Sun Belt Tournament since he didn't even make the trip to Pensacola. Fulks also missed the last regular-season game. Thomas filled in admirably with 33.5 DraftKings points in 34 minutes. Thomas should be the one that benefits the most from Fulks being out again, especially since he performed so well in his audition.
Also consider: Isaiah Stafford, Valparaiso ($8.1K); Jacob Meyer, Coastal Carolina ($7.6K); Tyren Moore, Georgia Southern ($7.4K); Marcus Millender, South Alabama ($6.8K); Eren Banks, Georgia Southern ($6.1K); Matthew Lee, Missouri State ($5.9K); Damien Mayo Jr., Missouri State ($4.9K); Maxwell Land, South Alabama ($4.5K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Joe Charles, Louisiana ($7.8K)
Charles hasn't been a consistent scorer, but he has scored in double figures in three straight games. His rebounding totals are far more predictable. He averages nearly 10 a game, so he's a constant double-double threat. Charles also has at least one steal in 10 of the last 11 games. He nuked CCU in the only meeting during the regular season, going for 63 DraftKings points with a well-rounded stat line. No one else on the slate has that ceiling.
Nick Ellington, Murray State ($6.5K)
Ellington's price is in the tank thanks to two horrible outings against Belmont and Indiana State to close the regular season. The Bruins and Sycamores are arguably the two best defensive teams in the MVC, so it's understandable. Ellington put up 57 DraftKings points in 59 minutes in the two games against Missouri State. That's a nice return in this price range.
Braeden MacVicar, Coastal Carolina ($5.2K)
MacVicar is a high-energy for the Chanticleers. He has at least one three-point basket in six consecutive games and has piled up 52 rebounds in the last seven games. His real strength is on the glass, both on missed shots and rim protection. He doesn't rely on scoring for value, which makes him all the more important in DFS circles. Play him for his defensive and rebounding chops. The points are just a small bonus.
Also consider: Donovan Clay, Missouri State ($7.7K); Eugene Brown III, Georgia Southern ($6K); Kobe Julien, Louisiana ($5.8K); N.J. Benson, Missouri State ($5.4K); Elijah Ormiston, South Alabama ($4.6K); Thomas Howell, South Alabama ($3.8K)
