One of the most exciting NFL offseason periods is set to begin. Monday, March 11 marks the start of the legal tampering period for free agency. Organizations will be free to negotiate with players who are available on the market. On Wednesday, March 13, the NFL's new league year begins, meaning teams can officially sign players to new deals.
This year, the most exciting free agents include Kirk Cousins, Chris Jones, Saquon Barkley, Josh Jacobs, Calvin Ridley, Christian Wilkins, Tyron Smith, and Marquise Brown. These players should have plenty of interested suitors, but obviously, cap space is a factor in whether some organizations can land top players. The NFL salary cap increased to $255.4 million for 2024, a $30 million increase from last year. Still, some teams remain in the negatives, while others have plenty of ammo to make big moves.
In this article, we'll list the salary cap space for each of the 32 NFL franchises. Cap numbers listed are verified via Overthecap.com. These cap numbers are accurate as of March 11 at 10:30 a.m. EST.

Chicago also has pick 9, D.J. Moore, Cole Kmet, some young pieces on the OL and $49M of cap space.
