The 2024 NFL Combine is over. Many prospects saw their NFL Draft stock improve or decline over the week-long event.
While quarterback is the most valuable position in football, they can’t succeed without talented pass catchers. This year’s draft class has four elite pass catcher prospects – wide receivers Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers, Rome Odunze, and tight end Brock Bowers.
However, which wide receivers and tight ends had the most impressive performances at the NFL Combine?

Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas
Worthy was the star of the 2024 NFL Combine. The former Longhorn ranked fourth among wide receivers in the vertical jump (41 inches) and fifth in the broad jump (nearly 11 feet). More importantly, he made NFL Combine history during the 40-yard dash. After posting a 4.25 on his first attempt, Worthy ran a 4.22 unofficial time on the second attempt, matching the record set by John Ross in 2017. However, the official time of 4.21 seconds broke the record.

Xavier Legette, WR, South Carolina
Many had questions about Legette after an up-and-down Senior Bowl week. However, the former South Carolina star had an impressive performance at the NFL Combine. He ran a 4.39 40-yard dash at 221 pounds. Furthermore, Legette had the sixth-best vertical jump among wide receivers, totaling 40 inches on his best attempt. After his performance at the NFL Combine, the former South Carolina star is a lock to be a top 50 pick.
Ricky Pearsall, WR, Florida
While Pearsall’s name hasn’t shown up in many mock drafts over the past several weeks, that should change after his performance at the NFL Combine. The former Florida star had a 40-yard dash time of 4.41 seconds, ranking 10th among the wide receivers. He also finished third among wide receivers in the vertical jump (42 inches) and first in the three-cone time (6.64 seconds), showing off his explosiveness and quickness. Overall, Pearsall had an impressive athletic performance.
Ricky Pearsall is a WR prospect in the 2024 draft class. He scored an unofficial 9.65 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 107 out of 3063 WR from 1987 to 2024.

Ben Sinnott, TE, Kansas State
With Brock Bowers opting not to participate in any athletic testing, it created an opportunity for every other tight end to make a name for themselves. While the 2024 draft class isn’t as deep as the 2023 draft class, there are a few appealing sleeper names. One of those tight ends is Sinnott. The former Kansas State star ranked first among tight ends in the vertical jump, broad jump, and three-cone time. His three-cone time was faster than wide receiver Troy Franklin.
