De'Anthony Melton Won't Return On Tuesday
De'Anthony Melton (back) has been ruled out for the rest of Tuesday's game against the Boston Celtics. Melton missed nearly a month of action due to a back issue. Now, he's sidelined again after only nine minutes during Tuesday's game. Kyle Lowry is still under a minutes restriction. That means, Cameron Payne should see an increased role off the bench with Melton being unable to finish this contest. Despite the increased role, Payne won't be worth a look in most fantasy formats.

De'Anthony Melton To Undergo Season-Ending ACL Surgery
De'Anthony Melton (knee) will undergo season-ending ACL surgery, according to ESPN's Shams Charania. Melton was only able to suit up for six games this season, missing seven with both back issues and knee issues. What was first believed to be an ACL sprain caused him to miss the Warriors' last two games. The 26-year-old was performing well for Golden State this season, averaging 10.3 points per game. With Melton out of the lineup, fantasy managers should expect Lindy Waters III to continue getting starts. Waters has put up just eight and six points, respectively, in his two starts and likely will not be a viable fantasy option going forward unless he receives more shooting volume.

De'Anthony Melton Ruled Out Monday Versus Clippers
De'Anthony Melton (knee) will miss his seventh game of the season, this time with an ACL sprain instead of the back issues he's been facing periodically. The two-way combo guard was unable to play in their last game against the Memphis Grizzlies as well. Buddy Hield and Brandin Podziemski will see big minutes yet again while Lindy Waters III (knee) could be in the starting lineup again if he's upgraded from questionable.

De'Anthony Melton Remains Out On Wednesday
De'Anthony Melton (back) will miss a fifth consecutive game on Wednesday versus Boston. He's battling a lower back problem, leaving the Warriors without a versatile backcourt option. Moses Moody, Buddy Hield, and Brandin Podziemski (illness) are all in a position to benefit. Hield, who has scored 20-plus points in four consecutive games, deserves the most attention from fantasy managers. Melton's next chance to return comes on Friday versus Cleveland.

De'Anthony Melton Won't Suit Up On Monday
De'Anthony Melton (back) will have to miss his fourth game in a row while dealing with a strained lower back. The two-way guard experienced a lot of back issues last season with the 76ers, and it caused him to miss more games than he played. Hopefully, the strain isn't too severe and he can return to the court soon. In the meantime, Brandin Podziemski, Moses Moody, and Buddy Hield have seen added opportunities. If Stephen Curry (ankle) returns, however, they wouldn't be the strongest streaming candidates.
