Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Timothy Liljegren is listed as day-to-day with an undisclosed injury. Head coach Sheldon Keefe said the right-shot blueliner isn't ruled out for Tuesday's home game against the Vegas Golden Knights. The 24-year-old has been leaned on heavily of late as the club lost fellow defenseman Morgan Rielly to a five-game suspension as Liljegren has logged at least 21:30 of ice time in four of his last five games while he is averaging a career-high 19:27 of ice time per game this season. He has notched two goals and 16 points across 40 games on the season as he missed time with a high ankle sprain earlier in the campaign. The Maple Leafs will carry a seven-game winning streak into Tuesday's contest with Vegas.--Brenton Kemp
