Chet Holmgren Hits Special Rookie Mark
1 year agoOklahoma City Thunder forward/center Chet Holmgren made history in Sunday's win over Houston, becoming the first rookie in NBA history to register 150-plus blocks and 100-plus three-point makes. He hit the milestone with three blocks and a 5-for-8 effort from deep against the Rockets. Holmgren made his presence felt all over the court at Toyota Center and added 29 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and one steal to his stat line. He finished 11-for-16 overall from the field. The uniquely skilled big man was well worth the wait for the Thunder, and Holmgren looks set to be a fantasy darling for years to come.

Chet Holmgren Uncertain For Monday
22 hours agoOklahoma City Thunder forward/center Chet Holmgren (hip) is listed as questionable ahead of Monday's game against the Chicago Bulls. This has been frustrating for fantasy managers as Holmgren has been in and out of the lineup lately. He continues to nurse a left hip injury and the Thunder are going to be cautious with him because the playoffs are quickly approaching. The Thunder are fairly banged up, so it's unclear who exactly would benefit at the moment. If he sits, Isaiah Hartenstein (hip), Kenrich Williams, and Jaylin Williams (hip) all stand to gain value.

Chet Holmgren Ruled Out On Saturday
2 days agoOklahoma City Thunder forward/center Chet Holmgren (hip) won't play on Saturday against the Pacers. The 22-year-old missed a few months earlier in the season because of a hip injury, so the team has given him time off sporadically since he returned to the lineup in February. With OKC having already locked up the top spot in the Western Conference, Holmgren may get even more time off moving ahead in preparation for a deep postseason run. Isaiah Hartenstein will likely slide into the starting lineup, with the former Knick averaging 11.4 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks in 48 starts this season. Kenrich Williams and Jaylin Williams may also see more action from off the bench.

Chet Holmgren Available On Tuesday
6 days agoOklahoma City Thunder forward/center Chet Holmgren (hip) is available to play ahead of Tuesday's game against the Sacramento Kings. Holmgren appears ready to go after missing Sunday's contest due to the hip issue. There is no word on Holmgren being limited, but his minutes have fluctuated recently anyway. Fantasy managers in season-long formats can get Holmgren back into their lineups on Tuesday. Alex Caruso will head to the bench, but should still have a significant role with the second unit.

Chet Holmgren Listed As Questionable For Tuesday
6 days agoOklahoma City Thunder forward/center Chet Holmgren (hip) may be sidelined for a second consecutive game on Tuesday against the Sacramento Kings, as the team lists him as questionable on the injury report. Holmgren was a late scratch on Sunday against the Los Angeles Clippers due to a left hip strain, and he could miss additional time because of the injury. With Holmgren out on Sunday, Alex Caruso made a rare start and delivered a solid two-way performance, finishing with 14 points, six rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Additionally, Holmgren's absence creates more playing opportunities for Jaylin Williams and Kenrich Williams.
