Trae Young Out At Least A Month
9 months agoAtlanta Hawks guard Trae Young (finger) will miss at least four weeks. The 25-year-old had been listed as questionable heading into Sunday's meeting with Orlando. However, he was downgraded to out just a few hours later, so many had assumed things weren't looking good. Unfortunately, it was revealed on Sunday that he suffered a ligament tear in his left pinkie and will now undergo surgery on Tuesday. It's not good news for fantasy managers, especially since Young has missed only a handful of games this season. But now that he's out of the equation, Dejounte Murray will presumably take over most of the duties at the one spot while also seeing a bump in usage. There's also room for De'Andre Hunter, who's averaged 20 points in two games without Young active this season, to get more involved on the scoring end. Also, fantasy managers are already anticipating an uptick in production from guys like Bogdan Bogdanovic and Jalen Johnson moving ahead.
