10 months agoAtlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young has steered himself clear of trade rumors and wants to remain on the team. "It's this type of league where things change and happen, but obviously, my mindset is staying in Atlanta right now. I don't get caught up in the rumors and all that stuff, my contract is locked in for a couple of years, and I don't have very much to say about it right now," Young told Jameelah Johnson of atlhawksfans.com. From a personal perspective, Young is having another fantastic season, but Atlanta is on track to a losing record and missing the playoffs, which definitely isn't a pleasant situation for the star point guard or the team.
