The Buffalo Bills had their ups and downs early in the 2023 season. They lost their season opener against the New York Jets and then lost on the road against the New England Patriots in Week 7. After 12 games, the Bills had just a 6-6 record.
However, Buffalo picked it up and won the final five games of the regular season to make the playoffs and win the AFC East. They entered the playoffs as the two-seed before losing in the Divisional Round to the Kansas City Chiefs.
With another first-place finish, the Bills will likely play another tough schedule in 2024. So, who do they play in 2024? How difficult is their 2024 schedule?

Who Do the Buffalo Bills Face in 2024?
The Bills are used to playing a first-place schedule, considering they have won the AFC East in four straight years. The 2024 season will once again see Buffalo face some of the best teams in the NFL. They'll have eight games at home and nine games on the road.
Three of those home games and three of those road games will be against division opponents (New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots). Then, the Bills will play the entire AFC South (Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans) and the entire NFC West (San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, Arizona Cardinals).

The final three opponents were determined by other first-place division winners. Buffalo will play the AFC West champion (Kansas City Chiefs), the AFC North champion (Baltimore Ravens), and the NFC North champion (Detroit Lions). Those 17 opponents are who the Bills will face off against in 2024.
How Difficult is the Bills' 2024 Schedule?
On paper, the Bills 2024 schedule is quite difficult. They'll face eight playoff teams and 10 teams that finished above .500 during the 2023 season.
Playing the entire AFC South and NFC West is not an easy task, as six of those eight teams finished with an above .500 record. The 49ers just made the Super Bowl, and the Texans, Colts, Jaguars, Rams, and Seahawks are all solid teams. Even the Cardinals should have a much better 2024 season with Kyler Murray now healthy. The Bills will also have two games each against the Dolphins and an Aaron Rodgers-led Jets team.

This Bills' schedule is looking like one of the toughest next season. They also have to face all four teams that made the conference championship this past year (49ers, Lions, Chiefs, Ravens). However, Buffalo should be the favorite to win the AFC East again in 2024.
