Ravens To Target A Running Back In Free Agency?
10 months agoSome NFL personnel people inside the league think that the Baltimore Ravens will target a running back with pedigree in free agency this offseason. The Ravens have a few tough salary cap decisions to make but should be able to keep most of its veteran base intact. A major decision looms on defensive tackle Justin Madubuike, who will be one of the most coveted free agents after his 13-sack season in 2023. Baltimore usually lets free agents test the market, but Madubuike would be gone very quickly unless he's given the franchise tag or extended on a long-term deal. In the backfield, both J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards, who have had their share of injuries, will both be eligible for free agency. Keaton Mitchell has a very high ceiling, but he'll also be coming off a torn ACL and a ruptured Achilles in the last three years.
