Welcome to Double Gameweek 25, RotoBallers! This is our third year covering FPL, and we are bringing you more coverage than ever. We publish two weekly articles: a staff roundtable preview and our weekly rankings. Then, once a month, we have our newest report, The Watchlist, a review of the previous month and a look ahead to the upcoming fixtures.
24 gameweeks down, 14 to go. It's the most significant double gameweek of the season (so far), and plenty of players are on the Gameweek 25 menu. Most FPL managers will flock toward Man City and Liverpool assets, but Brentford and Luton Town offer some discount doublers. Man City kicks off their double game with a revenge game for Cole Palmer on Saturday night, while Liverpool starts the week with a lunchtime tie away at Brentford.
The Fantasy Premier League Double Gameweek 25 deadline is 6:00 a.m. EST on Saturday, February 17, when Brentford entertains Liverpool. Also, look out for the rest of our excellent soccer coverage as the squad gets you all set for every English Premier League, Major League Soccer, and UEFA Champions League slate from a DFS and betting perspective.
I seldom play #EPL #DFS. But when I do, I make sure I check out my @RotoBaller buddies @EuanFPL and @df_solutions

Fantasy Premier League - Double Gameweek 25 Rankings
Our weekly rankings highlight players who could be worth a punt in your Fantasy Premier League squad. While the rankings will be filled with familiar names, a low-owned player with an easy fixture will rise up the one-week charts. For each gameweek, we will provide our top-15 goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards. These can also be applied as DFS rankings for your weekend contests.
Gameweek 24 Fantasy Premier League High Scorers
- Goalkeeper: Mark Flekken, Brentford and Ederson, Man City - 7 points
- Defender: Gabriel and William Saliba, Arsenal and Sergio Reguilon, Brentford - 12 points
- Midfielder: Declan Rice, Arsenal - 17 points
- Forward: Rodrigo Muniz, Fulham and Erling Haaland, Man City - 13 points
FPL Goalkeepers - Double Gameweek 25 Rankings
- Luton Town's Thomas Kaminski will be a popular transfer as he has two double gameweeks over the next month. Unfortunately, those doubles sandwich a blank in Gameweek 26. Two fixtures versus Man United and Liverpool isn't the most appealing double gameweek in the history of FPL, but there should be plenty of save chances up for grabs.

FPL Defenders - Double Gameweek 25 Rankings
- With Trent Alexander-Arnold (knee) back on the injury shelf, Andy Robertson becomes Liverpool's most attack-minded defender. In Gameweek 24 versus Burnley, the Scotsman made his first start since October and looked uber-aggressive in the second half. With TAA and Dominik Szoboszlai out and therefore not on set pieces, Robertson will have plenty of opportunities to whip the ball into the box for Virgil Van Dijk, Darwin Nunez, or Diogo Jota to convert those chances into goals and assists.

FPL Midfielders - Double Gameweek 25 Rankings
- Jurgen Klopp stated in his Friday news conference that Mohamed Salah is back in full training and contention for Saturday's game against Brentford. However, with Liverpool playing three games in nine days (including the Carabao Cup Final), I expect the German skipper to go easy on the Egyptian King. A substitute appearance versus Brentford and a 60-minute start versus Luton feels reasonable. Unfortunately, that's plenty of time for Salah to damage and punish FPL managers who don't bring him into their squads.

FPL Forwards - Double Gameweek 25 Rankings
- This question for Double Gameweek 25 isn't whether or not to put the Captain's armband on Erling Haaland. It's whether or not to activate the Triple Captain chip on Erling Haaland. Two home games versus Chelsea and Brentford seem like the best chance of the season to play this chip. However, if you are chasing in your mini-leagues, this could be the opportunity to go against the template and hold the chip for Dominic Solanke in Double Gameweek 28 or another option later in the campaign.
