CBB DFS: Night DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (2/13/24)

Bruce Thornton- CBB DFS Picks, NCAA Daily College Fantasy Basketball

Today's Night DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 2/13/24. Mike's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

I really like what DraftKings has done with the place! Last year on massive slates like this, they often cherry-picked a dozen games and left it at that. Many marquee teams were left off slates because of it. This year, they are giving us more games on two unique slates. If that sounds like heaven, you're right... it is. We have 17 games tonight with a nine-game main slate and an eight-game late slate. We will concentrate on the late slate here since we already covered the main one.

All but one game starts at the same time on this slate. We have Ole Miss at Rupp Arena to take on Kentucky. Ohio State is in Madison to take on the Badgers. Colorado State heads to San Diego for some sun, sand, and Aztecs. Central Florida heads to the mountains to take on the Mormons. Oklahoma heads down I-35 to Waco to take on Baylor. Louisville climbs Chestnut Hill to take on the Eagles. Florida State is in Blacksburg to take on the Hokies. We end in Reno with wolves of a different pack (New Mexico) in town.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/13/24, starting at 9 p.m. EST. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Isaiah Stevens, Colorado State ($8.2K)

Stevens has at least 30 DraftKings points in four of the last five games and 14 of the last 19 since a disappointing game against UMKC on November 17. One of those was a 38.75 DraftKings point game against the Aztecs in Fort Collins. Stevens has 11 assists in each of the last two games to go with his strong scoring and good defensive numbers. He'll need those assists against a team like San Diego State, but he has already proven that he can hold his own against them. Stevens is a good play in all formats.

Sean Pedulla, Virginia Tech ($7.2K)

Pedulla's early January hot streak is over, but he still has at least 20 DraftKings points in every game in the 2024 calendar year. Pedulla has stepped up his scoring for the Hokies and contributes across the board. He's a better passer than he gets credit for and is strong on the boards as well. That keeps the floor high.

Ty-Laur Johnson, Louisville ($6.6K)

Johnson exploded for 38 points against Florida State 10 days ago and has finally secured a spot in the starting lineup. He fouled out against Syracuse, but still put up good numbers before he departed. Johnson is a really good passer and a better defender than Louisville realized. His scoring has been a bit sporadic, but everything else has been consistent. Johnson remains a priority value on this slate.

Darrion Trammell, San Diego State ($5.1K)

Trammell is a grinder, just like us DFS players. He does a little bit of everything. He's a better real-life player than a fantasy asset, but Trammell plays so many minutes that he can't help but put up solid stat lines. He has at least 20 DraftKings points in three straight games and six of the last seven. The only game in which he missed that mark was the Colorado State game when Trammell went ice cold (1-for-8) from the floor. I trust that he won't shoot that poorly again.

Also consider: Reed Sheppard, Kentucky ($8.3K); Nique Clifford, Colorado State ($8.1K); Donovan Dent, New Mexico ($7.6K); Allen Flanigan, Mississippi ($7.4K); Bruce Thornton, Ohio State ($7.1K); Hunter Cattoor, Virginia Tech ($6.5K); Roddy Gayle Jr., Ohio State ($6.2K); Lamont Butler, San Diego State ($5.8K); Rivaldo Soares, Oklahoma ($5.6K); Josiah Strong, Colorado State ($4.9K); Mason Madsen, Boston College ($4.8K); Connor Essegian, Wisconsin ($3.4K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

JT Toppin, New Mexico ($8.1K)

Toppin has at least 35 DraftKings points in three straight games. The freshman is starting to find his groove for the Lobos. That run started after a disappointing game against Nevada in which he only played 22 minutes because of foul trouble. If Toppin can stay on the court, the ceiling is high. That Nevada game is the only time that he's missed 35 DraftKings points since January 16.

Fousseyni Traore, BYU ($7.1K)

Traore struggled against Central Florida in the first meeting, but he was still working his way back from a hamstring issue in that game. Traore is back up to his normal minutes load and has scored 130.5 DraftKings points in the last four games. Three of those games were against the strong defensive fronts of Oklahoma, Kansas State, and Texas. Traore's hamstring appears fine and the extra minutes are encouraging.

Joel Scott, Colorado State ($6.4K)

Scott is about as consistent of a play as you will find on this slate. He has between 21 and 31 DraftKings points in each of the last eight games. No matter the opponent, he is going to fall somewhere in that range. He put up 23.75 DraftKings points against the Aztecs during that span. Scott is a very efficient scorer and strong on the boards. His rebounds suffered against San Diego State and they might again, but the scoring will keep him afloat.

Aly Khalifa, BYU ($5K)

BYU has a nice two-headed monster in Khalifa and Traore. Traore is more the scorer, but Khalifa is a great passer on the interior and is strong on the boards. He has only been under 20 DraftKings points once in the last month (17.25 against a tough Houston team), even hitting the mid-30s once. Right now, Khalifa and Traore sap the value of each other a bit, but BYU might start playing them together more. If they do, look out!

Also consider: Jaedon LeDee, San Diego State ($8K); Jamir Watkins, Florida State ($7.8K); Jalon Moore, Oklahoma ($6.6K); Robbie Beran, Virginia Tech ($6K); Baba Miller, Florida State ($5.2K); Zvonimir Ivisic, Kentucky ($5K); Mylyjael Poteat, Virginia Tech ($4.8K); C.J. Walker, Central Florida ($4.7K)
