Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid just secured his third Super Bowl Championship of his career with a victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. The 65-year-old is having his best seasons as a head coach late in his career, and he could continue to pile up hardware with Patrick Mahomes moving forward.
However, being a franchise leader is a commanding job that leaves little room for family obligations and alternative hobbies, so the future Hall-of-Famer could consider hanging up his playsheet ahead of the 2024 NFL season.
Is Reid going to retire this offseason? Let's dive in.

Andy Reid Career Review
After 14 years with the Philadelphia Eagles and 11 years with the Chiefs, Reid has 26 playoff wins, 12 trips to conference championship games, five Super Bowl appearances, and three Super Bowl titles. He has only failed to make the playoffs in six of his 25 years as a head coach, and he's unlikely to add to that figure anytime soon.

His 258 wins currently rank fourth all-time among NFL head coaches, directly behind former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick (302).
Will Andy Reid Retire this Offseason?
Reid said he plans to return for another year in 2024 despite winning his second Super Bowl championship in the last two years over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. There had been speculation that Reid might ride off into the sunset if he won his third Super Bowl ring this year, but that won't be the case, and he'll be looking to build on his 258 career regular season victories in 2024.
With All-Pro quarterback Patrick Mahomes showing no signs of slowing down, Reid and the Chiefs have a very realistic shot of becoming the only team in NFL history to win three Super Bowls in a row.
