It's the calm before the Saturday storm again this week. We only have three games tonight, but they are all important mid-majors with aspirations for a deep March run. We had a pretty good night last night. Let's win some more before our monster Saturday!
We begin in Richmond with a ranked Dayton squad visiting Virginia Commonwealth. Up next is San Diego State in Reno. We end this in Fort Collins with the Rams hosting San Jose State.
This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/9/24, starting at 7 p.m. EST. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Max Shulga, Virginia Commonwealth ($7,900)
Shulga can't score like Isaiah Stevens, but he's a better rebounder and at least as good of a passer. Both of them have tougher matchups tonight. In situations like that, I lean toward the guy who relies more on peripherals to hit value and less on points scored. Since Shulga's awful game against Loyola-Chicago on January 23, he has scored 71 points in four games with 24 rebounds, 17 assists, and three steals. Those four games highlight why we play Shulga.
Javon Bennett, Dayton ($6,400)
Bennett doesn't have the ceiling of Kobe Elvis, but he is far more steady. Bennett has at least 23 DraftKings points in four of the last five games, so he's trending in the right direction. Bennett still scored 18 points against St. Joseph's when Elvis went nuts, which is a good sign for those of us riding Dayton. Their guard play has improved over the last month or so and they aren't cannibalizing each other's DFS value.
Joe Bamisile, Virginia Commonwealth ($5,200)
The Oklahoma transfer started slowly for the Rams, but he has put up some big numbers lately. Bamisile has averaged 24.7 DraftKings points over the last six games. That's a huge number for a value play. Bamisile is mostly a shooter, but he hauls in a fair share of rebounds as well. It appears the slow start is a distant memory. Bamisile feels underpriced right now, even against a team like Dayton.
Also consider: Isaiah Stevens, Colorado State ($8,300); Kenan Blackshear, Nevada ($7,500); Alvaro Cardenas, San Jose State ($6,800); Lamont Butler, San Diego State ($6,100); Koby Brea, Dayton ($5,700); Darrion Trammell, San Diego State ($5,200); Tyler Rolison, Nevada ($4,400)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
DaRon Holmes II, Dayton ($9,500)
No one else on the slate comes close to the ceiling of Holmes. He has at least 50 DraftKings points in six games this year. He has topped 40 in four more. Two of those 50-point offerings have come in the last three games. VCU is going to get after him, but Holmes is good enough to still put up good numbers at the very least. He's a monster on the boards, an elite rim protector, and the most prominent scorer in the A-10.
We’re not talking enough nationally about the Flyers of @DaytonMBB.

Joel Scott, Colorado State ($6,600)
You want consistency? Scott has between 21 and 31 DraftKings points in six consecutive games. His DraftKings point-per-game average is right at 25. He's an efficient scorer, strong on the boards, and an underrated defender inside for Colorado State. If you want a guaranteed 25 DraftKings points, Scott is your guy. It's a solid value at this price on a small slate.
Jay Pal, San Diego State ($5,200)
The Aztecs are a very deep team, so Pal's status as a starter doesn't mean a whole lot. He has played at least 20 minutes in his two starts though when he was in the high-teens most games. Pal has 17 points, 12 rebounds, five blocks, two steals, and two assists in 45 minutes in those two starts. He has done enough to stick in the lineup for now and he's still reasonably priced.
Also consider: Jaedon LeDee, San Diego State ($8,100); Nate Santos, Dayton ($6,800); Trey Anderson, San Diego State ($5,600); Adrame Diongue, San Jose State ($4,900); Kuany Kuany, Virginia Commonwealth ($4,600); Christian Wise, San Jose State ($4,300)
