Andrei Kuzmenko Scores Goal In Flames Debut
1 year agoCalgary Flames left wing Andrei Kuzmenko scored a power-play goal in Tuesday's 4-1 victory against the Bruins. The 28-year-old forward made an impact out of the gate as he was acquired by the Flames during the NHL All-Star break, with forward Elias Lindholm being sent to the Canucks as the centerpiece of the trade. Kuzmenko's fantasy value has increased significantly as a result of the trade and he should be rostered across standard formats while playing in a top-six role for the remainder of the season.

Andrei Kuzmenko Will Not Play On Saturday
4 months agoCalgary Flames winger Andrei Kuzmenko (lower body) has been ruled out for Saturday's contest against Florida, with the team considering him day-to-day. Kuzmenko recently had a two-game spell as a healthy scratch and is now forced to miss some action because of a lower-body injury. The Russian forward averaged nearly a point per game with the Flames last season but has been far from replicating the form in 2024-25. In 28 outings, Kuzmenko has scored only one goal while delivering nine assists. Jakob Pelletier is expected to grab Kuzmenko's spot on the third line for Saturday's game. The 23-year-old has notched two points (one goal, one assist) in four games since making his season debut earlier in the month,

Andrei Kuzmenko Records Third Straight Multi-Point Game
1 year agoCalgary Flames winger Andrei Kuzmenko had multiple points in a third consecutive contest as he scored twice in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to Anaheim. He netted in even-strength situations in the second and third periods. Kuzmenko also recently produced a two-goal effort against St. Louis, and he had two assists on Saturday versus Los Angeles. The Russian winger now boasts 14 points (nine goals, five assists) in 21 games with the Flames since joining from Vancouver. He continues to be very inconsistent, but Kuzmenko will have a chance to establish a new season high with a four-game point streak if he has another productive outing on Thursday against Winnipeg.

Andrei Kuzmenko Out On Saturday
1 year agoCalgary Flames winger Andrei Kuzmenko is in the middle of a bout with an illness and won't play on Saturday versus Edmonton. The Russian forward comes out of the lineup after playing in eight games for his new club. It's been an up-and-down start for Kuzmenko in Calgary, as he's tallied two goals and four points while averaging just a little over 14 minutes of ice time. He will be replaced by Jakob Pelletier (upper body), who's returning to action on Saturday following a four-game absence.

Andrei Kuzmenko Set To Return To Canucks Lineup Saturday
1 year agoVancouver Canucks winger Andrei Kuzmenko will rejoin the lineup Saturday against San Jose. He's been on the shelf for two games as a healthy scratch. The prolific Russian has now been scratched for five games this season, and a divorce with the Canucks appears inevitable, but he will get another opportunity to play on Saturday. Kuzmenko will join Ilya Mikheyev and Elias Pettersson on the top line, and we should also see him with the first power-play unit. In 29 games this season, Kuzmenko has put up 17 points (six goals, 11 assists), but he has grown his account by only five points in his past 16 appearances.
