CBB DFS: Afternoon DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (2/3/24)

Kyle Filipowski - College Basketball Rankings, NCAA CBB DFS Lineup Picks

We have a jam-packed 34-game Saturday on DraftKings today with pretty even splits all the way through. Just the way we like it! The afternoon slate also contains a dozen games for us to build from. We get started in College Station with the Aggies hosting Florida. Rutgers heads to Ann Arbor to take on Michigan. Houston is facing a Phog warning in Lawrence. Oklahoma heads to Orlando to take on UCF.

The next window takes us to Salt Lake City where the Ralphies are in town. Maryland also heads to the state of Michigan to take on the Spartans. Georgia Tech is in Raleigh to take on the Pack. Auburn heads to Oxford to face the Rebels. Cincinnati is in Lubbock to face Texas Tech. BYU heads to Morgantown to take on the surging Mountaineers. Notre Dame is in Pittsburgh to take on the Panthers. We close this one out in style with Duke heading 14 miles to Chapel Hill to take on the Tarheels.

In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/3/24, starting at 4 p.m. EST. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Wade Taylor IV, Texas A&M ($8,900)

Taylor is the perfect GPP player on any slate because he takes a whole bunch of shots. His shot totals look like Allen Iverson's in Philly. Taylor hasn't hoisted less than a dozen shots since the blowout win over Houston Baptist before Christmas. Taylor is averaging 20 points per game, so he makes a fair amount of them. What is worth watching is the rebound surge. Taylor has at least five rebounds in five straight games and six of the last seven. That bumps the ceiling up just a bit higher.

Markus Burton, Notre Dame ($7,300)

You won't find many players at any price as consistent as Burton is. He has at least 25 DraftKings points in every game since December 2. College football was still going on! Burton is an efficient scorer and outstanding defender. If you're going to use a guy like Taylor, it may not be a bad idea to have Burton as an anchor to give you a good floor to start from. Burton should be a staple in all cash games at this point.

Kerr Kriisa, West Virginia ($6,100)

The Mountaineers have been the team most affected by the court ruling that allowed transfers to play. It took Kriisa a while to get going in West Virginia, but he has at least 25 DraftKings points in four straight games. That's no small feat in the Big 12. Kriisa is a very good scorer, a really good defender, and a sneaky good passer. This level of production is sustainable, and it comes at a low price right now.

Denver Jones, Auburn ($4,900)

Auburn moved the struggling Jones to the bench before last Saturday's game and he has responded by scoring 27 points off the bench in two games. Jones isn't like my usual value choices because he does almost nothing but score. Those 27 points only resulted in 33 DraftKings points. Still, he gets a lot more opportunities as a bench player, which can only help for DFS purposes.

Also consider: KJ Simpson, Colorado ($8,500); RJ Davis, North Carolina ($8,400); Zyon Pullin, Florida ($7,700); DJ Horne, North Carolina State ($7,300); Walter Clayton Jr., Florida ($7,000); Johnny Furphy, Kansas ($6,600); Naithan George, Georgia Tech ($6,300); Chance McMillian, Texas Tech ($5,900); Elliot Cadeau, North Carolina ($5,400); Braeden Shrewsberry, Notre Dame ($5,100); Jahari Long, Maryland ($4,000); Gavin Griffiths, Rutgers ($3,300)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Johni Broome, Auburn ($9,100)

Broome is one of the more efficient scorers in the SEC, but what has me after Broome is the 60 minutes that he played against Alabama and Mississippi State. He only played 24 minutes against Vanderbilt, but he still notched a double-double with five blocks in the blowout win. If this game stays close, Broome should see around 30 minutes. He put up 55.5 DraftKings points on Alabama, so his ceiling is the best on the slate.

Harrison Ingram, North Carolina ($7,800)

Ingram has 57 rebounds over the last four games alone. He's not the scorer that Armando Bacot is, but Ingram is by far the better man on the boards this year. Rebounds are better for DFS purposes than points are, so it makes sense to use Ingram. He has a double-double in three of those four games, so it's not like he can't score. He just notches more rebounds than points.

Jalon Moore, Oklahoma ($6,100)

Moore has at least 20 DraftKings points in six of the last seven games. He topped it off with a big game against Kansas State and Arthur Kaluma this week. Moore is getting close to double-double territory, which is nice to see. He had a rough September and early January. Moore and the Sooners seem to be back on track now. I feel good about the matchup and the price against UCF.

Joseph Tugler, Houston ($4,500)

Tugler gives Houston good minutes off the bench. He is a good rim protector and strong on the glass but has been better off the bench than as a starter. The minutes reduction lowers the ceiling, but his floor has been better as a bench player. Value at forward tonight is a bit ugly, so I'm fine having a consistent producer with no upside.

Also consider: Kyle Filipowski, Duke ($9,000); Julian Reese, Maryland ($8,300); Tristan Da Silva, Colorado ($7,000); Baye Ndongo, Georgia Tech ($6,700); Donta Scott, Maryland ($6,300); Marchelus Avery, Central Florida ($5,500); Jordan Geronimo, Maryland ($5,100); Sam Godwin, Oklahoma ($4,800)
