The Philadelphia Eagles had one thing on their mind after Super Bowl LVII: Revenge. They came within inches of capping off a fairytale season and winning the Super Bowl, but a controversial call along with their defense folding against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs prevented that from happening.
The Eagles started the season on fire, winning seven out of their first eight games before winning against the Cowboys, Chiefs, and Bills to improve to 10-1. They were on track to clinch the first seed and make their way back to the Super Bowl, but then something unexpected happened.
After the team lost back-to-back blowouts to the 49ers and the Cowboys, they became unmotivated and lost their groove, only winning one game out of their last six before getting embarrassed by the 9-8 Buccaneers in the Wild Card round. Now, there are a lot of questions surrounding this team and whether this core is good enough to win a ring.

What Draft Picks Do The Philadelphia Eagles Own?
The Eagles are projected to have nine draft picks, which includes multiple compensatory picks that they'll receive when the NFL distributes 32 compensatory picks during the offseason. They have three picks in the first 53 selections.
In the 2002 NFL draft, the #Eagles used the team’s first three selections on defensive backs.
Lito Sheppard. Michael Lewis. Sheldon Brown.
It feels like a similar draft is coming from Howie Roseman.

Assuming that they won't trade for another first-round pick, 2024 will be the first time that the Eagles enter the NFL Draft with only one pick in the first round since 2021. They have the 22nd overall selection in the first round.
Who Could The Philadelphia Eagles Draft In The First Round?
The Eagles need to get younger in the secondary, as the age and lack of speed of their defensive backs cost them against Tampa Bay in the playoffs. Luckily for them, there are a bunch of intriguing DB prospects available at their draft spot, such as Nate Wiggins, Cooper DeJean, Quinyon Mitchell, Kamari Lassiter, and Kool-Aid McKinstry.
The best thing that could happen draft night is Kool-Aid McKinstry falling to the #Eagles at 22.
Would be a home-run pick for Howie. Assuming Bradberry is cut, Kool-Aid is the most pro-ready CB to me. pic.twitter.com/MoCyQzHPjz

However, the Eagles could also look to build a younger offensive line after Jason Kelce's retirement. Replacing Kelce won't be easy, but players like Graham Barton and Kingsley Suamataia could try to fill his shoes. There's also a small chance that they go for a WR like BrIan Thomas Jr. if A.J. Brown gets traded.
The Eagles have a lot of holes in their aging roster right now but never bet against the smart Howie Roseman, who will do anything to get this team back to the Super Bowl again.
