Joe Dunand Signs Minor-League Deal With Red Sox
11 months agoFree-agent infielder Joe Dunand signed a minor-league deal with the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday. Dunand made his major-league debut in 2022 with the Miami Marlins but played in only three games and went 3-for-10 with a home run, double, RBI and two runs scored. He spent all of the 2023 season in the minors with the Atlanta Braves and slashed .268/.362/.481 with an .844 OPS, 17 home runs, 19 doubles, two triples, 52 RBI, three stolen bases and 49 runs scored in 95 contests for Triple-A Gwinnett. The 28-year-old infielder will almost certainly begin the 2024 season at Triple-A Worcester while providing the Red Sox with infield depth at multiple positions.
