Jacob MacDonald Ready To Return Tuesday
1 year agoSan Jose Sharks defenseman Jacob MacDonald (lower body) has been activated from Injured Reserve ahead of Tuesday's clash with the Kraken. The 30-year-old hasn't played since Dec. 23, missing 15 games. MacDonald, who's often used as a forward, has struck six goals this season and boasts seven points in total through 17 appearances. Based on pregame projections, we should see MacDonald skate with Luke Kunin and Nico Sturm on the third line.

Jacob MacDonald To Suit Up At Forward For Avalanche
3 years agoJacob MacDonald is normally a defenseman for the Colorado Avalanche. However, on Saturday he will be suiting up as a forward. This is because of injuries to the Colorado forward core. As it stands now, MacDonald will be playing fourth-line right-wing. That means he will likely see around ten minutes of ice time. In his first game of the season, MacDonald attempted five shots and got four on the net. This was all in just 10:47 of ice time against St, Louis on Thursday night.
