Looking At Every Super Bowl Winner

Cooper Kupp - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, Draft Targets

Every Super Bowl winner in NFL history. Mike Fanelli breaks down every Super Bowl winner and the game's MVP award winner by the decade since the first game in 1966.

The game of football has been around for well over a century. However, the first Super Bowl didn’t happen until the 1966 season. That was the first year the NFL and AFL merged.

While the first two title games were called the AFL–NFL World Championship Game, the name was changed to Super Bowl, starting with the third-ever contest in 1969. Every year, there is a Super Bowl MVP winner, almost always going to the best player on the winning team.

In less than two weeks, the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will battle for the right to be called champions. Let’s look at every Super Bowl outcome and the MVP award winner from that game, breaking it down by the decade.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:
