We have another dozen games on the afternoon slate. This one starts with the only offering from the Big East with Butler hosting Villanova. Up next, we have some Big Ten flavor with Illinois hosting Indiana and Michigan hosting Iowa. The Big Ten also ends this afternoon's slate with Minnesota at Penn State.
The SEC starts off the next window with Auburn on The Hump to take on the Bulldogs. They also give us Kentucky in Fayetteville and Tennessee heading over to Nashville to take on Vandy later in the afternoon. The only Big 12 battle takes TCU down I-35 to Waco to take on the Bears. Clemson heads to Cameron to take on Duke. Georgia Tech takes on Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. We also have some Pac-12 offerings with Colorado in Pullman and Arizona heading to Eugene to take on the Ducks.
In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/27/24, starting at 3 p.m. Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Dalton Knecht, Tennessee ($8,400)
Knecht "only" scored 25 points against the Tide this week. Hey, that was his lowest total in four games. That's the kind of heater Knecht is on. He's still a GPP-only play for me since most of his production comes from points. If he goes cold, he has no chance of hitting value. Try telling that to the 128 actual points that he has scored in the last four games combined. The ceiling is there.
Caleb Love, Arizona ($7,600)
We have a unique opportunity for GPP formats today. We can put two of the top shooters in college basketball in the same lineup. Knecht and Love are both sharpshooters from anywhere on the floor and aren't afraid to take the big shots. Love hasn't scored like Knecht has lately (no one has), but he is adding more peripheral stats, making him a little bit less of a risk.
Jayden Nunn, Baylor ($5,100)
Nunn has given the Bears big minutes over the last two games, including dropping 15 points in a game where RayJ Dennis took just two shots. I don't know that this is a changing of the guard, but Nunn has topped 25 DraftKings points twice in the last four games. As with the others featured here, Nunn is a risk. However, he could pay off big if he's going to play 30 minutes for the third straight game.
Denver Jones, Auburn ($4,500)
Auburn is a very deep team, especially at guard. Aden Holloway is electric, but since I've chosen risky plays everywhere else, I'm going with the reliable one here. Jones has played well off of the Auburn bench this year. He has cracked double figures in DraftKings points in all but four games this year. He shouldn't have a problem doing so again against Mississippi State.
Also consider: Elijah Hawkins, Minnesota ($7,800); Pierre Brooks II, Butler ($7,300); Quincy Guerrier, Illinois ($7,100); J'Vonne Hadley, Colorado ($6,800); Jeremy Roach, Duke ($6,600); Trey Galloway, Indiana ($6,300); Nick Kern Jr., Penn State ($5,400); Keeshawn Barthelemy, Oregon ($5,000); MJ Collins, Virginia Tech ($4,700); Khalif Battle, Arkansas ($4,100)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Kyle Filipowski, Duke ($9,400)
Clemson has the length to battle with Filipowski, but Filipowski doesn't hang out on the interior all that often. He shoots well from the outside and is a good rim protector and rebounder on the other end of the court. Filipowski has at least 42 DraftKings points in three of the last four games, even hitting 60 in one of those. Clemson might slow him down, but not enough to move me off of this.
N'Faly Dante, Oregon ($7,800)
Dante posted 33 DraftKings points on Thursday night and it qualified as a disappointment. That's where Dante is now. That was a strong game against Arizona State. We saw Adem Bona give Arizona fits last weekend. Dante is a more polished (and bigger) version of Bona. This might not be a ceiling game like Dante had against Utah, but it could be close.
Zvonimir Ivisic, Kentucky ($5,800)
Everyone talked up Ivisic after his powerful debut against Georgia, but he spent much of the South Carolina game in foul trouble. This is a much more fantasy-friendly matchup against Arkansas today. It's still worth mentioning that Ivisic is a freshman with 26 minutes of NCAA experience. He's going to have growing pains. If he can play anywhere near 20 minutes though, he's going to put up big numbers for the price.
Robbie Beran, Virginia Tech ($4,800)
Beran has been a strong presence in the middle for the Hokies, but he's a better real-life player than fantasy player. That said, he's playing quite a few minutes when he can stay out of foul trouble. There's good potential for the price, especially since the Hokies are going to need his size to deal with Baye Ndongo.
Also consider: Coleman Hawkins, Illinois ($9,100); Isaac Jones, Washington State ($8,100); Jonas Aidoo, Tennessee ($7,600); Baye Ndongo, Georgia Tech ($7,200); Cody Williams, Colorado ($7,100); Jalen Thomas, Butler ($6,400); Nate Bittle, Oregon ($5,200); Rueben Chinyelu, Washington State ($4,700); Mylyjael Poteat, Virginia Tech ($4,100)
