Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis had the most memorable game of his career against the Kansas City Chiefs in a 2022 AFC Divisional game, and the two teams are set to square off in the same round of the NFL playoffs in 2024. The speedster caught eight passes for 201 yards and four touchdowns in a losing effort two years ago, so he's an intriguing player for the rematch that will take place on Sunday.
However, his status is uncertain after he missed last week's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers with a knee injury. We have the latest update on his status for the second round of the playoffs.
Is Davis playing on Sunday against the Chiefs? Should you start Khalil Shakir in playoff fantasy leagues or DFS if Davis can't suit up? Let's dive in.

Is Gabe Davis Playing Today?
Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that wide receiver Gabe Davis (knee) will not play in the Divisional Round playoff game on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Davis will miss his second straight playoff game after spraining the PCL in his knee in the Week 18 win over the Miami Dolphins.
Davis' absence didn't really make a difference in the easy wild-card win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, but it could be a factor against a strong Chiefs secondary this weekend.
Should I Start Khalil Shakir For Fantasy Football/DFS?
With Davis out of action, Shakir is now a viable WR or FLEX option in playoff fantasy leagues and DFS contests. He is just $3,800 on DraftKings for Sunday slate contests, making him a solid budget option. Paying up for Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Amon-Ra St. Brown, or Travis Kelce is expensive for this contest, so saving money on Shakir could benefit DFS gamers.
However, Kansas City has surrendered the third-fewest DK points per game to wideouts, so he's far from a sure thing.
