Bobby Slowik Interviews For Panthers Head-Coaching Job
11 months agoHouston Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik interviewed virtually with the Carolina Panthers on Thursday for their head-coaching job. In addition to the Panthers, Slowik has received interest from the Atlanta Falcons, Seattle Seahawks, Tennessee Titans and Washington Commanders for the same position. With Slowik in control as a first-time play-caller in 2023, the Texans ranked 12th in total offense (342.4 yards per game), seventh in passing (245.5 yards per game), 22nd in rushing (96.9 yards per game) and 13th in scoring (22.2 points per game) with a rookie quarterback. Panthers interim head coach Chris Tabor, Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero, Ravens OC Todd Monken, Ravens DC Mike MacDonald, Dolphins OC Frank Smith, Cowboys DC Dan Quinn, Rams DC Raheem Morris and Bengals OC Brian Callahan also have interviewed with Carolina.
