Jaime Jaquez Jr. Leaves On Sunday, Ruled Out For Monday
11 months agoMiami Heat forward Jaime Jaquez Jr. (groin) could only play the first half of the game against the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday after he suffered a groin strain. Afterward, head coach Erik Spoelstra said that Jaquez would not travel with the team for their game against the Brooklyn Nets on Monday and he's considered day-to-day. Jaquez was putting together a good game against Charlotte in the 15 minutes he had on the floor. He posted 15 points, five rebounds, two assists, and one steal while shooting 7-for-11 overall. In the second half, Haywood Highsmith took his place and he'll likely be the one to take over the added opportunities on Monday against the Nets.
