Saturday is here, and that means wall-to-wall college basketball! The main slate features nine action-packed afternoon games. We've got majors infiltrated by a couple of mid-majors. We have some interesting matchups. Let's unwrap this gift!
The Big Ten starts us off with Penn State in West Lafayette to take on Purdue. The ACC is well represented with Florida State also in Indiana taking on the Irish. Boston College heads to Clemson. They also cap this slate off with Georgia Tech in Cameron Indoor with Duke looking for revenge. We have Utah State in Vegas to take on UNLV. The SEC gives us the Battle of Columbia in Missouri. Arkansas heads to Florida to take on the Gators. The Big 12 gives us K-State in Lubbock and BYU getting a nice January trip to Orlando.
In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/13/24, starting at 2:15 P.M. Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower levels of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.
Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Kanye Clary, Penn State ($8,000)
Purdue's perimeter defense has left a lot to be desired this year. The last thing they want to see is a guy like Clary on a hot streak. Clary hit rock bottom against Bucknell on December 2, scoring just four points in 29 minutes. Since then, Clary has scored at least 18 points in every game while piling up at least 28 DraftKings points. He has over 30 in six straight games. This should be number seven.
Pop Isaacs, Texas Tech ($7,500)
There is mostly a new team around him, but Isaacs remains the guy that the Texas Tech team revolves around. Issacs has at least 20 points in four straight games after not hitting that mark once in the first 11 contests. The solid peripheral numbers are still there for Isaacs, giving him a solid floor. This is a tougher matchup, but Isaacs just scored 45 combined points on Oklahoma State and Texas in the last week. He can do it against anyone.
Tamar Bates, Missouri ($6,000)
Bates continues to pick up starts with Caleb Grill out. Bates has scored in double figures in all five games with Grill out. He provides solid numbers across the board and he remains very affordable. His ceiling isn't that high, especially during conference games, but the solid floor is great for cash games.
Chandler Jackson, Florida State ($3,300)
Jackson doesn't play a lot of minutes and does little aside from score, but he is an efficient shooter who can put up bench points in a hurry. He is a massive risk due to limited minutes and few peripherals, but value is hard to come by at the guard slot on this slate and we really need some. You can do worse in a large-field GPP.

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Kyle Filipowski, Duke ($9,500)
The Yellow Jackets stunned Duke in Atlanta to kick off December, but things have changed since then. Filipowski put up 40.75 DraftKings points in that game, contributing in every category. Filipowski continues to be the driving force for Duke and could have a monster game as the Blue Devils look to exact revenge in front of their home crowd.
Baye Ndongo, Georgia Tech ($8,100)
That Duke game was Ndongo's coming-out party. He put up nearly as many DraftKings points as Filipowski and has at least 33 DraftKings points in all but two games since. Ndongo's floor is lower and he's not quite as consistent, but getting a ceiling almost as high as Filipowski at a significantly lower price makes him a great pivot in GPP formats.
Devin McGlockton, Boston College ($7,300)
Teams have committed to stopping Quinten Post in ACC play. McGlockton has made them pay. Since the calendar turned to 2024, McGlockton has 60 points, 28 rebounds, four assists, three steals, and five blocks in three games. He has at least 30 DraftKings points in all three of those games, topping 40 in the last two.
Kebba Njie, Notre Dame ($5,200)
After a disastrous start to the season, the Irish just threw things at the wall to see what stuck. One of those things was Njie. He's a high-energy board crasher that was sorely missing from Notre Dame's early lineups. Njie has 30 rebounds over the last three games. He's unpolished on offense which does limit his ceiling, but he can hit value in rebounds alone at this price.
