Aaron Jones A Solid Option Despite Tough Matchup
10 months agoGreen Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones will go on the road to take on the Dallas Cowboys in the first week of the NFL playoffs. The 29-year-old has been managing a knee and finger injury but was left off of the team's final injury report. AJ Dillon (neck/thumb) is also listed as doubtful, so Jones will have all the carries he can handle on Sunday. The veteran enters the weekend on a three-game streak of over 110 yards gained on the ground but faces a Dallas defense that allowed the seventh-fewest fantasy points to running backs this season. On top of that, Johnathan Hankins, the Cowboys' top run defender, was left off the final injury report for the first time in a while. Jones is a savvy vet who can produce against any defense but carries risk in DFS tournaments due to the matchup.
