Cedric Tillman Injury Update for Fantasy Football

Cleveland Browns rookie wide receiver Cedric Tillman suffered a concussion in Week 18 against the Cincinnati Bengals. He had three catches for 43 yards in the game before exiting.

As of Thursday, Tillman is not back at practice for the Cleveland Browns. The Tennessee product remains in concussion protocol.

In fact, Tillman was officially ruled out by the Browns on Thursday afternoon. The team will officially not have the rookie wideout in the lineup when they play the Houston Texans on Saturday.

Cedric Tillman will not play on Sunday when the Cleveland Browns face the Houston Texans. Fantasy managers who hoped to use him in playoff leagues or as a value option in DFS contests will need to look elsewhere.

The problem right now is that Amari Cooper hadn't been practicing, so we won't have a clear sense of the value in this Browns receiving unit until we know what Cooper's status is for this weekend's game. He did return to practice on Thursday though, which is a good sign for his availability.

Elijah Moore will be an intriguing fantasy play no matter what Cooper's availability looks like, but if Cooper is out as well as Tillman, there could be sneaky value with David Bell. This is a situation worth monitoring heading into the weekend.
