Anaheim Ducks center Trevor Zegras suffered a lower-body injury Tuesday against Nashville and will be "out for a while," according to Ducks head coach Greg Cronin. Zegras was hurt early in the game during his third shift when he got tangled up with Nashville forward Juuso Parssinen and took an awkward fall. The talented youngster only recently returned from a lower-body injury, which kept him out for 20 games. Zegras has had a disappointing season with seven points (four goals, three assists) in 20 games, and Tuesday's injury is a further blow for him. Ryan Strome replaced Zegras on the top line Tuesday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Anaheim Ducks center Trevor Zegras (knee) is set to return to the lineup for Tuesday's tilt against Florida. He has missed 22 games following meniscus surgery on his right knee. Zegras has not been impactful offensively for most of the campaign, but he began to turn a corner before getting hurt. The 23-year-old has collected 10 points (four goals, six assists) in 24 games, notching six of his points during a four-game scoring streak in late November. Zegras is expected to link up with Leo Carlsson and Alex Killorn on the second line on Tuesday. --Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Anaheim Ducks center Trevor Zegras has undergone successful knee surgery and is expected to miss approximately six weeks of action. The exciting forward has already sat out three games with a torn meniscus in his right knee. Zegras has had a difficult campaign, and the injury is another setback for him. But it's good to know he will be out for weeks, not months. The 23-year-old has recorded four goals and 10 points in 24 outings this season. Brett Leason has joined the top-six group during Zegras' absence, but he isn't a reliable source for fantasy value.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Anaheim Ducks forward Trevor Zegras suffered a lower-body injury in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to Vegas. He was hurt early in the second period and had to be helped off the ice. Zegras might now face a third lengthy absence because of an injury in just over a year. He lost 31 games last season to a broken ankle and a groin injury. The 23-year-old has recorded 10 points (four goals, six assists) in 24 outings this campaign. Anaheim was already without Leo Carlsson (upper body) on Wednesday, so the top-six group has recently taken a couple of rough blows. The injuries might give Cutter Gauthier a chance to nail down a spot on a scoring line.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Anaheim Ducks center Trevor Zegras continues to generate trade interest, according to The Athletic's Pierre LeBrun. The skilled center saw his name churn through the rumor mill during the 2023-24 season but it appears Ducks general manager Pat Verbeek continues to field calls regarding the American. Zegras had a tough season both from a health and underperformance standpoint in 2023-24 as he notched just six goals and 15 points across 31 games while also dealing with a broken ankle that cost him significant time. The Ducks drafted Zegras with the ninth overall pick of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft and he has collected 55 goals and 154 points across 211 games since.--Brenton Kemp
