Arthur Smith Might Not Be Back Next Season
11 months agoAccording to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, there is a growing belief that Falcons head coach Arthur Smith won't be back next season. Owner Arthur Blank hasn't been thrilled with the team's performance throughout the 2023-24 campaign, so sources believe both parties could go their separate ways. Atlanta began the year by winning its first two games. Since then, the team struggled. There appeared to be a chance the Falcons were heading to the postseason. However, the Falcons lost four of their last five games, which could be good enough to get Smith a pink slip. Of course, if things come to fruition, the next coach could significantly impact the fantasy stock of Bijan Robinson, who's projected to be a first-round fantasy option. At the same time, a new coach will determine the fantasy outlooks for underperformers like Desmond Ridder, Drake London, and Kyle Pitts heading into the 2024-25 season.
