Shaedon Sharpe Won't Have A Minutes Cap On Sunday
11 months agoPortland Trail Blazers guard Shaedon Sharpe will see a full workload in Sunday's matchup with the Brooklyn Nets. The 20-year-old is averaging 16.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.0 assists this season, a significant improvement from the 2022-23 campaign, his rookie season. But he battled a groin injury at the end of December, keeping him off the floor for five games. Although Sharpe has been back in the lineup, he's logged 24 minutes or fewer in each of the last three games. Fortunately, he has been productive despite his limited minutes. At any rate, Sharpe's presence could mean less work for Malcolm Brogdon and Scoot Henderson, especially with Anfernee Simons also no longer operating with a minutes cap as of Sunday.
