Max Jones Sustains An Upper-Body Injury Friday
11 months agoAnaheim Ducks left wing Max Jones suffered an upper-body injury in Friday's 3-1 loss to Winnipeg, taking only five shifts and finishing with 4:15 of ice time. Jones has filled in for Troy Terry (upper body) on the top line lately. His stint in the role gets an unfortunate ending, although Terry is on the cusp of returning anyway. Jones has posted four goals with four assists in 34 games this season. He's averaged less than 12 of ice time for the season, so the 25-year-old doesn't have a large role to play for the Ducks, but we could see him back in the top six if Anaheim suffers further injuries. Jones should be considered questionable for Sunday's tilt with Detroit.
