A.J. Brown Could Have Ball Forced His Way In Season Finale
11 months agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown will go on the road to take on the New York Giants in Week 18. Fellow receiver DeVonta Smith (ankle) has already been ruled out for Sunday's game due to an ankle injury that he suffered late in last week's loss to the Cardinals. With little production coming from the likes of Quez Watkins and Julio Jones this season, Brown could be force-fed targets this weekend. Offensive coordinator Brian Johnson already relayed to the press this week that they need to get the 26-year-old more involved, and that should start Sunday with Smith out. Brown gained 80 yards on six receptions back in Week 16 in the two team's first meeting and will aim to clear that line to end the regular season. Consider the fifth-year receiver a top-five option in Week 18.
