Cole Kmet Injury Update
Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet (knee) is listed as questionable to play in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. Kmet didn't practice on Wednesday, was limited on Thursday and managed to put in a full practice on Friday, so he's clearly on the right side of questionable. The 24-year-old was also questionable last week but was active and played a season-low 13 snaps in the Week 17 win over the Atlanta Falcons.
It sounds as though he's healthier this week, which means he should see the field more often. Kmet could see plenty of targets, too, with receiver Darnell Mooney (concussion) already being ruled out. In the season opener against Green Bay, Kmet had five catches on seven targets for 44 yards. Consider him a risky low-end, touchdown-dependent TE1 in fantasy for the Bears' final game of the season at Lambeau Field.
Luke Musgrave Injury Update
Green Bay Packers rookie tight end Luke Musgrave (kidney) is officially listed as questionable for the Week 18 regular season finale against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Musgrave remains on Injured Reserve and hasn't played since Week 11 due to a lacerated kidney, but he has been practicing on a limited basis the last two weeks and could be activated from IR on Saturday in order to help the Packers in a must-win game on Sunday at Lambeau Field.
The 23-year-old second-rounder had 33 receptions on 45 targets for 341 yards and one touchdown in his first 10 NFL games before getting hurt, but if he is activated and is eligible this weekend, fantasy managers should expect him to be eased into the offense. Fellow rookie Tucker Kraft has been adequate as the team's pass-catching tight end the last six weeks with Musgrave sidelined.
Hunter Henry Injury Update
New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry (knee) has been ruled out of the Week 18 game against the New York Jets. Henry suffered a knee injury in the Week 15 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs and has not been able to suit up since.
In his absence, Mike Gesicki should see more work, but he has limited upside in fantasy football and DFS contests.
