Taylor Moore finished tied for 34th at last week's Mexico Open and is now preparing for this week's Cognizant Classic, held at PGA National Resort. In his six starts this year, Moore has only missed one cut and has recorded two top-10 finishes. Over the past 12 months, he ranks in the 17th percentile for proximity to the hole on approach shots from 150-200 yards in the fairway. This is noteworthy because, at last year's Cognizant Classic, over 44% of approach shots came from this distance. Moore has been in excellent form this year, making him a strong candidate for DFS lineups this week.

Taylor Moore has found success early in 2025, recording three top-25 finishes, including two top-10s in his first five events of the year. He now looks ahead to the Mexican Open, where his lone result at this event was a missed cut last year. This course favors players who are long off the tee and proficient with long irons, as 63.5% of all approach shots came from 175-plus yards at this event last year. Moore certainly fits the bill, averaging 310 yards with his driver and ranking inside the top 30 in both strokes gained off the tee and strokes gained from tee to green. To find success this weekend, Moore will need to hit greens in regulation, and he ranks in the 68th percentile from 200-plus yards in this category. At $9,000 on DraftKings, Moore is a strong fantasy option this week.

Taylor Moore played better each day at the Farmers Insurance Open. The American golfer then endured a nightmare final round. Moore shot an 80 which was 5.2 strokes above the average. Moore could not make birdies, could not get close to the green, hit errant shots, etc. He netted five bogeys and a triple bogey. After a round like that, Moore gets ready for Pebble Beach. Conditions expect to be better weather wise. He did have a Top 15 result at the event in 2023. Moore is +17000 on DraftKings and may be a cheap enough option from a DFS perspective this week. At just $6,400, that does save salary for the top-tiered golfers.

Taylor Moore finished tied for seventh at last week's American Express and is now preparing for this week's Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California. His results at this tournament have been mixed, with a T70 finish in 2022, a T11 finish in 2023, and missing the cut in 2024. Over the past 12 months, Moore ranks in the 47th percentile for greens in regulation percentage on approach shots from over 200 yards in the fairway. This is notable because, at last year's Farmers Insurance Open, over 34% of approach shots were taken from this distance. Given his past performance at the event, Moore should be considered for DFS lineups this week.
